One of the flagship events in the framework of the celebration of Earth Day in Rabat is doubtlessly the Ecology Space which will be erected on the Oudayas esplanade from 18 to 25 April 2010.

Over a surface area of 2800 m², ministries, public entities, boards, foundations, local collectivities and international partners dealing with environmental protection actions in Morocco will present on a single platform Green Morocco moving forward.

Open to the public, the purpose of this venue is to inform the population of the initiatives and innovations on the environment undertaken in Morocco and also to consolidate collective ecological awareness that will mark all Earth Day events.

Stands showing the advances, innovations and projects regarding environmental protection will make it possible to build awareness of the public and to have it adopt practices and alternative gestures for the preservation of resources and energy.

The ecology space will consist of two spaces, one in the open air with stands set up by NGOs and exhibits of artistic works on the theme of Earth Day, as well as a covered exhibit space including professional and institutional stands.

The exhibit will focus on five themes: biodiversity, waste, mobility, water and energy and will see the organization of creative ecology workshops, artistic competitions and various interactive and entertaining activities.

The Ecology Space will open its doors from 18 to 25 April, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
